The Wiccan Community
|
The Wiccan Community is a community of love, honor, and trust. We respect one another for who we are. Since we (all of Earth's creations) are all children of the Great Goddess, we all demand and deserve respect. To love one another is to love the Goddess. We know that to live a life led by respect and love is to live a happy, healthy life.

The Wiccan Rede, our "law", states "An it harm none, do what thou wilt." This means that one should always strive to do as little harm as possible, to oneself and others. Therefore, we do not practice harmful "black" magick and we are usually pacifist in nature. We also believe in the Law of Return, in that whatever you send out returns to you threefold. So most Wiccans would not harm another, knowing that it will return to them multiplied.
Living by the Rede is not as easy as it seems! It takes a lot of thought before each action one takes. One must take the least harmful route in all things. The path of the ethical Witch is not easy!

The Goddess, The God, and Us
|
Wiccans believe that all Gods are one God and all Goddesses are one Goddess. The God and The Goddess, in turn, are two aspects of one Spirit, the Great Spirit. Therefore, in our beliefs, all Gods and Goddesses are respected and revered. We do not "play God" by trying to force our religious path on others, as some religions do. We believe that everyone is destined to be on the correct path for them, and to lead them astray is to do them a great injustice. We treat all religions as honorable and respectable, even if we do not follow the same belief system.
